Infinix Zero 8 Reviews
For starters, we have highlights from GSM Arena’s review of the phone:
- Well built, with a charming design
- 90HZ refresh rate in the display is poorly implemented – while the display is smoother than a regular 60Hz IPS, it also “exhibits a lot of fringing and ghosting, especially in text, while scrolling”.
- Not-so-good-outdoors experience – Auto brightness is slow to react.
- No color mode options available.
- Infinix’s custom skin, XOS, is busy and riddled with bloatware and ads
- The phone uses digital warranty: no need for tedious paperwork; warranty gets activated the first time you set up the Zero 8
- MediaTek Helio G90T chipset delivers solid performance
- The single loudspeaker is unimpressive in both loudness and quality.
- Camera performance on the Infinix Zero 8 is a mixed bag, with a lot of inconsistencies: AI mode and ultrawide photos are soft and very grainy. The Zero 8 struggles in low light.
- GSM Arena recommends that you use the native 64MP resolution mode for your photography, as it takes care of most of the issues they observed with the camera. You have to deal with more noise on your photos, though. What of video recording? GSM Arena says videos look underwhelming. EIS works great though.
- The selfie camera shoots good photos mostly.
- The Zero 8 offers excellent battery life.
In conclusion, GSM Arena says that all put together, Infinix Zero 8 “brings a lot of value to the table, but does so with a distinctly local-market flavor”, but still “find it hard to really outright recommend it”.

- Great quality build
- laser Focus
- OTG Support
- Great XOS interface

THE INFINIX ZERO 4 CAMERA
The Zero 4 come with a 16 MP camera which happens to be less than the 20 MP on the infinix Hot 3. However, the Zero 4 tends to shoot better photos than any infinix device on the market.
While the Zero 4 plus features a 20.7 MP on the back and a 13 MP front camera.
I know you’ll be surprised how a 16 MP camera can possibly be better than 20 MP. Isn’t that impossible?
Well, it’s possible, in fact, the recent innovation in the camera field has shown that Camera pixels aren’t all when it comes to better picture quality. However, optical image stabilization and improved laser focus prove to be the most decisive factor of the camera quality.
With that out of the question, the 16 MP on the back shoots clearer and amazing photos, the quality of the camera is second to none. As a matter of fact, the Hot 4 and the plus boasts of a better camera quality than all Infinix devices, which is, undoubtedly true.

The best thing about the camera is the improved detail to the environment when taking selfies. Needless to say, the front camera is for lovers of selfie.

FINGERPRINT READER
The fingerprint is on the back of the phone, placed in a suitable position to unlock the phone quickly. Also, the fingerprint is fast and efficient. It allows you to register more than one print.
HARDWARE
The Hot 4 is powered by a 3 GB RAM and 32 GB internal storage, while the Hot 4 plus features a 4 GB RAM with 32 GB storage. With that out of the question, both Smartphone’s are powered by a MediaTek MT6753 chipset with an average octa-core processor speed clocked at 1.5GHz.
Infinix Mobility boasts of the super efficient battery charge. Thanks to the X high feature, with just 10 minutes, you can get up to 5.8 hours of talk time.
SOFTWARE
The Hot 4 and the plus both run the Android 6.0 Marshmallow with XOS.
The XOS is a customized operating system by Infinix to produce an intuitive experience for users. For instance, the freezer, custom themes, and smart clean up are part of the XOS features.

INFINIX Zero 4 & Zero 4 PLUS – CURRENT PRICE IN NIGERIA
The Infinix Zero 4 and Zero 4 plus price is between the range of N90,000 – N120,000 (Outdated Price). Although the price is high, the features it holds can’t be played down. I, however, find the price deserving of the phone.
