With England in another coronavirus lockdown, the demand for online supermarket delivery slots has once again increased. Amid this, supermarket giants Asda and Sainsbury's are set to make some big. Shoppers eager to do their lockdown shopping at Sainsbury's But if it's a home delivery slot you're after for an elderly or vulnerable person, this is what you need to do.

Delivery Charges

• Orders under £40 will be charged £7 for standard delivery
• Orders over £40 will vary between £1- £4.50.
• There is no delivery charge for orders over £100 booked for delivery on Monday - Thursday after 2pm, once you have selected your time slot on your summary page it will confirm free delivery.
• Minimum order value £25​
• The delivery charge will be confirmed when you place your order.

Delivery Pass

• Like Asda, Sainsbury’s isn’t offering delivery slots on Christmas Eve. Sainsbury’s online is closed for delivery on December 24, 25 and 26. That means you’ll need to get your Christmas shopping.
• Thousands of elderly and vulnerable people across Britain claim they cannot get access to online delivery slots amid the coronavirus crisis. Shoppers have slammed Tesco, Sainsbury's, Morrisons.
• Unfortunately, Sainsbury’s Christmas delivery slots have all gone. The last possible day to order for those few days before Christmas was December 2. However, next day Click & Collect delivery is.

With our delivery pass, you can pay and upfront fee and then pay no delivery charge on your online grocery orders for the next 3, 6 or 12 months. ​

• Anytime Delivery Pass – 1 free delivery per day, 7 days a week when you spend £40 or more. ​
• Midweek Delivery Pass – 1 free delivery per day on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursdays when you spend £40 or more.

Saver slots are cheaper than our standard delivery slots, offering a longer time window of 4-hours or more. Customers with these slots receive an additional notification on the day of delivery informing you of your more precise 1-hour time slot.
